Louisville For All is a claim for justice. We believe everyone should benefit from our city's offerings regardless of race, age, background, citizenship, disability, education, ethnicity, family status, gender, gender identity/expression, geographical location, language, political views, religion/spiritual belief, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, and work experience. This justice is met when each citizen has equitable access to MONEY, HOUSING, SAFETY, HEALTH, and INCLUSION.

MONEY

  • create more high paying jobs in black neighborhoods to help address Louisville’s wealth gap

  • start distributing NDF money equitably, not equally

  • find new revenue options such as medical cannabis, gambling, and professional sports teams

  • prioritize needs such as full-service grocery stores, entertainment venues, and recreational activities in the West End of Louisville

  • train and hire people who live by new business developments, especially youth, through re-engagement centers so young adults have access to work.

  • limit exploitative businesses such as liquor stores, dollar stores, vape stores, pawn shops, and overpriced convenience stores

  • continue to grow tourism that leads to local job opportunities, Downtown but also on Broadway

  • ensure all businesses have fair access to major economic booms such as the Kentucky Derby

  • support JCPS Academies of Louisville with more local business partnerships, more certification programs, trade schools that create union jobs

  • strengthen relationships between police and community with fair policing across the city, more diverse departments, and a community review board to investigate police shootings

  • build safety zones at health clinics

  • begin divest-invest with law enforcement so we can prioritize caring for people instead of caging people
