Ten Steps to Nonviolent Political Change
educate - learn the issue, the target in the power structure, the process, ask and answer questions
communicate - tell individuals about the issue, mobilize, bring people into the fight
collaborate - work with people who care about the issue, your networks, like groups, allies, coalition building
delegate - spread work around for the issue, who is doing what, which skills required
advocate - campaign a solution for the issue, mass awareness
agitate - pressure decision makers about the issue, escalating tension, or “creative tension”
negotiate - work with decision makers to address the issue
legislate - change law, allocate funding, or get an executive order to address the issue, theory of change
regulate - ensure it's working and the issue is solved or go back to amend
celebrate - reflect how you addressed the issue before you move on to the next, motivate people to continue fighting or recruit new fighters
